When War Games Go Live: “Staging” a “Humanitarian War” against “SOUTHLAND”

by Prof. Michel Chossudovsky

On November 02 2010, more than four months prior to the onset of Operation Odyssey Dawn, France and the UK announced the conduct of war games under Operation “SOUTHERN MISTRAL 2011” against “AN IMAGINARY COUNTRY’ called “SOUTHLAND”, living under a “DICTATORSHIP”  which allegedly “was responsible for an attack against France’s national interests”.

The Franco-British (humanitarian) air operation against “SOUTHLAND” was to be carried out pursuant to an IMAGINARY “UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO: 3003”.

The war games were scheduled to start on March 21, 2011. THESE FRANCO-BRITISH WAR GAMES  NEVER TOOK PLACE. OPERATION “SOUTHERN MISTRAL” WENT LIVE ON MARCH 19, 2011 (two days prior to the scheduled date).

The Devil’s Priests by Robert S. Mendelsohn, M.D.

In the course of my research on health matters, I often run across criticisms of the conventional medical profession by practitioners of alternative medicine.  Every now and then, I find a gem from a conventional physician who has reached a sufficient level of despondency that they feel the need to blow the whistle on the profession for the good of the public.

Rarely does this seem to do any good as indeed, we’re so fully indoctrinated from birth to believe that doctors deserve our unquestioning trust, it takes a hell of a lot to break free from this bond.  I went through a similar dissolution of faith in my teenage years when I broke free from my religious indoctrination.  After living for 18 years as a Catholic, it took several years before I could say, even silently to myself, “There is no God!” without wincing.  It is no doubt because of my personal experiences that I found the subject article particularly striking.

Robert S. Mendelsohn, M.D. was a long-standing conventional medical practitioner who obviously became seriously dissatisfied with the state of the profession and, as usually, happens garnered the disfavour of that profession.  He wrote a number of articles and books which I hope to get around to one day but I think this article gives a general understanding of what he saw as wrong with the profession.  Although Mendelsohn died in 1988, I can still recognise the same systemic faults today and I would urge everyone to read his words and then venture more cautiously into the devil’s lair.

The following is an extract published by The One Click Group from Mendelsohn’s Confessions of a Medical Heretic

The Devil’s Priests

By Robert S. Mendelsohn, M.D.

Chapter 7: [1991] Confessions of a Medical Heretic

I always laugh when someone from the American Medical Association or some other doctors’ organization claims that doctors have no special powers over people. After I finish laughing, I always ask how many people can tell you to take off your clothes and you’ll do it.

Because doctors are really the priests of the Church of Modern Medicine, most people don’t deny them their extra influence over our lives. After all, most doctors are honest, dedicated, intelligent, committed, healthy, educated, and capable, aren’t they? The doctor is the rock upon which Modern Medicine’s Church is built, isn’t he?

Not by a long shot. Doctors are only human — in the worst ways. You can’t assume your doctor is any of the nice things listed above, because doctors turn out to be dishonest, corrupt, unethical, sick, poorly educated, and downright stupid more often than the rest of society.

Chris Hedges: This Is What Resistance Looks Like – Chris Hedges’ Columns – Truthdig

The phrase consent of the governed has been turned into a cruel joke. There is no way to vote against the interests of Goldman Sachs. Civil disobedience is the only tool we have left.

We will not halt the laying off of teachers and other public employees, the slashing of unemployment benefits, the closing of public libraries, the reduction of student loans, the foreclosures, the gutting of public education and early childhood programs or the dismantling of basic social services such as heating assistance for the elderly until we start to carry out sustained acts of civil disobedience against the financial institutions responsible for our debacle. The banks and Wall Street, which have erected the corporate state to serve their interests at our expense, caused the financial crisis.
